Fields: format

This section provides details of:

• the required format and content of every field in CIS, including suggested word counts. As fields are used across many publications, it is very important to comply with these guidelines.
• what publications each field in CIS is drawn into. These tables are updated as more publications get produced from CIS.

Fields marked 'Yes' in the 'Requires APO: CIS approval' column go through the UAPO editorial gateway before approval.

Note: Information must be written in the present tense, third person, using full sentences (unless the field does not require full sentences).
Marketing speak, unsubstantiated non-factual claims, and jargon should be avoided.

Fields that do not comply with the format guidelines will not be approved and will therefore either be returned to the faculty for amendment or will be amended by the UAPO so that they do comply and can be approved and published.
